The outer shell is constructed from the proprietary DRY-TEC fabric, a two-layer nylon ripstop that’s not only completely waterproof on its own, but has been treated with DWR for comprehensive protection from the elements. Premium 800-fill power EX Down handles insulation duties, which is kept in place by Montbell's Sewn Through construction and housed in ‘skip-stitched’ baffles, which reduces cold spots and minimises heat loss.
