The Sierra Down Parka come Jacket has played a part in The North Face range for a very long time, in fact we have the 1979 Fall-Winter Catalogue in the office where it’s described as “The incomparable lightweight backpacker’s parka and continues to enjoy its well-deserved reputation” 40 years on and we couldn’t agree more, not so much on the lightweight backpacking front though. This iteration is an inspired popover with deep comfortable pockets.
