A long-term Outsiders' favourite, KAVU's Strapcap was and is their defining product. Created by founder Barry Barr in the early '90s the Strapcap was a response to Barry's persistent problem of losing caps whilst at sea; inspired by the webbing from a Teva sandal he created a durable canvas cap with a webbing strap around the rim which meant it stayed in place in even the most significant of gale force winds, so perfect for on top of hills too. This canny bit of design has become an enduring Kavu product; still produced in the US of A, this time in a fleece iteration, this is the ultimate outdoor cap for sea or land.
