Taking inspiration from the down jackets of the sixties with its wide-baffled design, the Brent Jacket from Carhartt fuses classic sensibilities with contemporary tech. Rather than opt for down insulation, Carhartt have instead turned to synthetic which will continue to insulate even when wet, unlike its organic counterpart. This is encased in tough, woven nylon taslan that promises years of service. However, the boxy fit, removable hood and large front pockets of those vintage design remain very much at the forefront.
